Common questions

I signed in but it says I don't have a subscription.

Make sure you're using the exact email you subscribed with at gist.website. Check your inbox for the welcome email to confirm. If the issue persists, email support@gist.website.

Gist doesn't appear in my Share sheet.

Tap the Share button → scroll the app icons row to the right → tap More → find Gist and toggle it on. This only needs to be done once.

The summary failed or showed an error.

Some pages block automated access (DRM-protected content, login-only pages). Try on a different article. If summaries consistently fail for a publication you expect to work, email us the URL.

How do I share my subscription with someone else?

Your plan includes seats for up to 3 people. The other person downloads the app, enters their own email, and you email us to add them to your account. Or upgrade to the Family plan for 6 seats.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Visit your account dashboard and tap Manage Billing to access the Stripe billing portal where you can update your payment method or cancel.
