Texas Stock Exchange Goes Fully Live, Targeting NYSE and Nasdaq

The Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) has officially launched full trading operations across all tickers, marking a significant milestone for the Dallas-based upstart aiming to challenge Wall Street's two dominant exchanges — the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. The exchange had begun trading earlier in July 2026 with a limited subset of tickers before expanding to full coverage, according to Greg Ferrari, chief operating officer of TXSE Group Inc.

To mark the occasion, TXSE held a bell-ringing ceremony at its temporary Dallas headquarters, a symbolic gesture that directly echoes the iconic opening and closing bells of its established rivals. The ceremony signals that the exchange views itself as a serious, long-term competitor rather than a niche regional venue.

TXSE has been positioning itself as a business-friendly alternative to the established exchanges, with its Texas base appealing to companies and investors who have grown frustrated with regulatory and political environments perceived as hostile in traditional financial hubs. The exchange has attracted significant attention and backing since its founding, with the broader push reflecting a growing appetite among corporations and financial players to diversify away from NYSE and Nasdaq's duopoly.
